Giorgia Tucci founder – Researcher PhD and adjunct Professor in urbanism university program at University of Genoa DAD, Department of Architecture and Design. Founder of agrocities.com, focus on ‘MedCoast-AgroCities’ Mediterranean Coastal Agricultural Cities research. She carried out a period of doctoral research at the ETS, Escuela de Arquitectura en Málaga (2017- 2018). She continues her scientific production within the GicLab research group in Genoa.
Manuel Gausa Navarro – Architect and full professor of Urban Design and Urban Planning since 2017 at the Department of Architecture and Design, University of Genoa (UniGe). Coordinator of the ADD, PhD in Architecture and Design at the Department of Architecture and Design (DAD-UNIGE – University of Genoa) directs the GIC Lab, Research laboratory in architecture, urbanism and landscape. Cofounder of IAAC, Institut d’Arquitectura Avancada de Catalunya.
Nicola Canessa – Architect and adjunct Professor in urbanism university program at Department DAD, University of Genoa (Italy). PhD in Architecture at ADD Genova, Doctoral School of Architecture and Design at the University of Genoa, since April 2012. Theme of the thesis is “The Mediterranean City”, analysis of the changes taking place on the Mediterranean coasts and the factors that affect the intercontinental inhabit the coastal territory.
Alessia Ronco Milanaccio – Designer and PhD in Design at University of Genoa – DAD, Department Architecture and Design, UniGe. Her research concern to the relationship between visual communication of the Design School and the evolution of the graphic design culture in the XX Century. She collaborates as graphic designer with the ADD – PhD Architecture and Design Program. Currently part of the GicLab research group in Genoa.
Matilde Pitanti – Architect and PhD student in Architecture at the University of Genoa. Her research investigates the potential of resilient territorial strategies, in response to hydrogeological and flooding problems in urban riverfront, as instruments of urban reactivation and regeneration. During her university career, she studied at the Technische Universität in Wien, through the Erasmus Plus program. Currently part of the GicLab research group in Genoa.
Francesca Vercellino – Architect and PhD student in Architecture at the University of Genoa with a thesis of design communication services and urbanism, that focuses on the issue of migration and on how to solve a growing demand for integration and work. During her university career, she studied at ULHT Universidade Lusofona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in Lisbon, through the Erasmus Plus program. Currently part of the GicLab research group in Genoa.
